The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Forestry Research Institute of Ghana (CSIR-FORIG):

The Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Forestry Research Institute of Ghana (CSIR-FORIG) has a vision of “using the transforming power of science and technology for wealth creation”. The role of CSIR-FORIG towards this vision is to undertake forest, forest products and related research and to disseminate and commercialize research outputs and services. The CSIR-FORIG is also the coordinating body of The Forestry Research Network for Sub-Saharan Africa (FORNESSA), with an aim to support and strengthen forestry research in order to contribute to the conservation, sustainable management and utilization of forest resources in Sub-Saharan Africa.

The Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE):

The Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center (CATIE) is a regional center dedicated to research and graduate education in agriculture, and the management, conservation and sustainable use of natural resources. Its members include Belize, Bolivia, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Venezuela, the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA), and the State of Acre, Brazil.

Asia-Pacific

Forestry Foreign Affairs Office, Royal Forest Department, Thailand:
The Royal Forest Department is a department in the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment (MoNRE), part of the Government of Thailand. The department aims to monitor forests, coordinate research, encourage community forest management, conserve forest land and monitor the wood industry. The department aims to support ARFM activities through technical collaboration to support partnerships across the region and globally, foster increased communication and outreach regarding the importance of tropical forestry, include ARFM in related RFD activities, programmes and initiatives, including international forestry affairs and highlights. Work against this mandate shall be in-kind by both Parties, until funding can be secured.

Financial Institutional Partner

Ascent Partners:

Ascent Partners a private organisation providing advisory services in the areas of corporate, technology, mergers and acquisitions, litigation support, financial reporting, and valuations. As a Financial Institutional Partner to ARFM, the focus of the Partnership is to support ARFM communicate the importance of best practice in responsible forest management across the tropical world to governments, the private sector, civil society, and communities, as well as raise the needed finance to support ARFM activities, programmes and initiatives. The work will intersect across the three regions of the ARFM network as well as support the delivery of the annual General Assembly.
